There are two systems to measure piercings, metric and imperial. The metric system uses millimeters, while the imperial system uses gauges. In our products, we use both for the convenience of our customers.
There are two systems to measure piercings, metric and imperial. The metric system uses millimeters, while the imperial system uses gauges. In our products, we use both for the convenience of our customers.
It is the measurement of the bar (thickness) in most jewelry pieces. Basically, it will be the thickness of the body piercing where the jewelry piece will be inserted.
Type:
O,8mm and 1mm it is used for piercings of the nose and ear mainly.
1.2mm it is used for the eyebrow and lip piercing more frequently.
1.6mm it is the most commonly used size for piercing such as the tongue and navel, although 1.2mm it is becoming more widely adopted.
Larger gauges are used to make the piercings bigger. It is a gradual process.
The piercing is measured by thickness and length.
The ring piercings are measured by the internal diameter.
We work with surgical steel SS316L, cobalt CoCr NF, titanium Ti6AL-4V ASTM F136, platinum, 18k gold, 18k rose gold, 18k white gold, UV acrylic, bioplast, and silicone.
The traditional system. The bar has the thread on the outside, and the ball has a hole with an internal thread to screw onto the end of the bar. It may be less comfortable during insertion, as the exposed thread can rub against the piercing tissue.
The thread is inside the bar, and the ball has a small threaded post, similar to a screw, that protrudes and inserts into the bar to be screwed in. This system allows for smoother insertion and reduces the risk of irritation.
Currently, we work with threads of 0.8 mm, 0.9 mm, and 1.2 mm.
The bar has a hollow tube inside, and the ball has a very thin and slightly curved post. First, insert the post into the tube halfway, then bend it a little more to increase the curvature, and finally, push the piece all the way in.
The curvature of the post creates friction with the inside of the tube, preventing the piece from coming loose or falling out.
An alternative to pressure rings, this is the most comfortable system for closed jewelry pieces. Whether in plain or decorated rings, this mechanism is essential.
A segment of the ring is attached with a hinge on one end, while on the other, there is a tab that snaps into place. This allows easy opening on one side and secure closing.
Once closed, the ring remains completely smooth, with no visible cuts.
The balls are replaceable according to the desired size, but normally 3 and 4mm are used for the eyebrow and lip, and the 5 and 6mm balls are for the tongue piercing. The NAVEL piercing usually uses 8mm in the bottom ball and 5 or 6mm in the top one.
Piercings can be divided into the following categories:
The ball for these models is called "dimple" and we have them in various models and styles, pearls, embedded crystals, colored acrylics, with designs...
It can be used practically on all parts of the body. It is perfect for the nose, eyebrows, ears, nipples, lips, and navels. Available in a wide variety of sizes and styles.
It is the oldest piercing model, the most commonly used models are the navel (belly button piercing), and they are even used as earrings for the ears.
The banana models for belly button piercings have a standard size of 1.6mm or 14 gauge. The ball on the upper part is mostly 5mm and the one on the lower part is 8mm. The micro bananas of 1.2mm or 16 gauges are used for the eyebrows.
The bananas will be available in surgical steel, titanium, and bioplast tm with a wide variety of designs. We have a large and exclusive selection of these pieces with sterling silver.
You can find them with crystals, with decorations, with colors, in many materials, hanging, large, small, and of course, the simplicity of classic balls.
Barbells are very easy to adapt because both balls can move and be swapped for different models: tips, crystal balls, dice, acrylics, flat balls, and many more.
They are used for tongue, ears, or nipple. Larger sizes are used for the "Prince Albert" and genitals. They are available in surgical steel, titanium, and bioplast tm.
Industrial barbells of 1.6x35mm and larger sizes can be used for ears with two piercings. Micro barbells of 1.2mm or 16 gauges are more suitable for eyebrow piercings.
Bioplast ones are very popular and recommended for initial piercings because they reduce the risk of infections. We also have them with accessories made of various materials.
The micro bananas and micro barbells (1.2 or 16 gauges) are the most used for eyebrow piercings.
We have a wide variety of different models, sizes, and colors.
Circular barbells are used in various piercings such as ear, tragus, septum, nose piercings, even in horizontal clitoral piercings, although this is less common. When positioned correctly, they can also be used in nipple piercings.
They are versatile and are used in ears, nose, and eyebrows. We have many models with a great selection of different accessories: balls, spikes, UV acrylic, titanium, dice, etc.
They are available in surgical steel, titanium, and bioplast tm.
Bioplast tm circular barbells are very popular for initial piercings because they reduce the risk of infections. We also offer them with different accessories made of surgical steel, titanium, and UV acrylic.
The labret is essentially a barbell with one side having the possibility of threading and the other in the form of a flat disc. The flat part of the labret serves as a limit with one part of the piercing, and the front part will have the replacements. Although there are countless styles of labrets, the procedure is the same, with the only difference being the internal threaded ones and the pressure-fit bioplast ones. The ball models are available in steel, titanium, with crystals, dice, acrylics, etc.
They are perfect for the Madonna piercing (in the center, sides, or below the lip), also for ears with a longer length, and could even be used for the tongue. Bioplast tm labrets have a wide variety of replacements with 18-karat gold, in very varied and original shapes and sizes.
Bioplast labrets are the best sellers currently because this material is one of the most recommended, as it does not damage the tooth enamel and the friction with the gums is smoother than with other materials. These can be found with various accessories made from different materials, such as gold or titanium...
Fake gauges will help you simulate a real gauge and are used with the standard piercing sizes 1.2 and 1.6. They look real but don’t require a larger piercing. We have them in surgical steel, UV acrylic, fimo, and organic materials in different sizes and models.
They are made in two pieces, one part is like a flat disc that screws onto a bar, which then fits into the other end of the gauge with the same system as a normal piercing. Simply place the bar part into the ear piercing.
Nose studs and nose bones (nose piercing models) are the most popular nose piercings because they are discreet, comfortable, and available in many models and different shapes.
A nipple model is the Nipple shield, in English it is called this because with the bar inserted into the nipple, the exterior part that decorates this piercing model covers the entire areola of the chest. They are available in a wide variety of shapes or as a simple barbell, pressure ring (bcr), or any other piece.
They can be done horizontally, vertically, or at any other angle, depending on preferences. They are available in surgical steel, titanium, bioplast, and can be used with many accessories.
We offer a wide variety of piercing accessories, such as balls, spikes, pearls, dice, crystal balls, flat balls, etc.
All of them can be found in steel, titanium, UV acrylic, and many more in the catalog on our website.
